This album is an amazing breakaway from the "norm". Influences include the great Jazz ladies - Ella Fitzgerald, Shirley Horn, Peggy Lee and Carmen McRae. The love and trust that I felt whilst recording it from my dear friend and musical director Ray Aldridge gave me the strength to "go out on a limb" and pursue a style of music that I've always wanted to do. Thankyou to Ray, Dave, Ben Tony and Lachie for making this long awaited dream come true.
